Daniel Craig Edixon

Daniel Craig Edixon, 61, passed away at his home on July 22, 2019 following a long illness.

He was born on May 10, 1958 in Ashtabula the son of Donald and Nancy (Doman) Edixon.

Dan was a 1976 graduate of Edgewood Senior High School.

After graduation became a union meat cutter for Kroger’s until he began his 33 year career in 1986 at Grand River Rubber and Plastics.

On June 4, 1994 he married Melinda “Mindy” Woodworth, his loving and devoted wife. They just recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.

Dan enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, camping, riding 4 wheelers, and playing sports with his kids.  He was truly a family man and he most enjoyed times spent with his family, especially his grandkids.

He is survived by his loving family: his wife Mindy, his daughters: Hanna (J.J. Banyas) Edixon and Haley Edixon; his grandchildren: Jacob Edixon and Eliza Banyas; his brothers Donny (Phyllis) Edixon and Denis (Jeanne) Edixon; many aunts and uncles; his nieces and nephews: Janell, Dawn and Kyle, Kayla, Josie, Janell W., Janessa, Genny Sammy, Ryan, DJ and Dawn, his mother-in-law Sue Powell , 2 sisters in laws: Brenda  Blenman and Bonnie Woodworth; brother in law Steve Woodworth; a good family friend Dorothy Rohm; and Miranda Enlow who he loved like his own daughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents: John and Wanda Doman and Marlea and Charles Edixon, his father in laws James Woodworth and Richard Powell and recently by his niece Tia Blenman.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday August 10th at 3205 Stevens Road from 2:00 to ?
