Lynn Santiago Obituary

Lynn Santiago, affectionately known as Lynn “Bubba Bear” Santiago passed away peacefully, in his hometown of Youngstown, on Sunday March 24, 2024, at the Hospice of the Valley-Hospice House.

He was born to Julio R. Santiago and Margarita Maldonado on June 27, 1967.

He graduated from Eastside High School, Youngstown, Ohio in 1986.

Lynn was a “Jack of all Trades”; a roofer, a bouncer, a D.J., a car salesman, and he even had his own barbecue business until he had to retire early.

On July 18, 2015, he married Valeria Campbell (Santiago); they met on a dating site in 2014, it was love at first sight and they have been going strong ever since.  They were a blended family that came together beautifully.

Along with his wife, he leaves behind his daughter, Anastasia Santiago (of Louisiana);

His stepdaughters: Quanishia James, Christina Noble, and Shaniqua Noble (Lorain Ohio), stepson Ira James, Jr. (Cleveland Ohio); Grandchildren: Elizabeth, Kameron, Marquan, Madison, Navayshia, Christian, Ariah, Eligh and Ira III.; his siblings: Nancy Santiago (Youngstown, OH), Milagros “Millie” Deloach (Lubbock Texas), Julia Knox (Houston Texas), Joe Roldan (San Diego, California); his in-laws, John (Ella) Rogers (Lorain Ohio), John Rogers Jr (Cincinnati Ohio), Otis (Rosie) Thompson, Jason (Adrienne) Parker, and Yolanda Campbell-McAfee (Lorain Ohio); as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Lynn was preceded in death by his father, Julio R. Santiago, his mother, Margarita Maldonado, his brothers: Johnny Santiago, David Santiago, Julius Santiago; and his stepdaughter, Brittney Noble.

Lynn was very active with the world around him he loves the outdoor especially at the lake he love his remote control cars going to the park and playing with them he enjoys playing his music and was amazing on the grill entertaining everyone he loves to make everyone laugh very comical with his deep voice everyone always say he sounds like Barry White he loves hanging around family and friends he was a dog lover his family will truly miss him he will never be forgotten
