Marguerite Pescatrice Obituary

Marguerite M. Pescatrice

Longtime Parma resident Marguerite M. Pescatrice, 90, passed away June 27, 2020.

She was born in Roseville, Michigan on February 10, 1930 the daughter of Arthur and Lizzetta (Evert) Litz.

She graduated in 1948 from St. Dominic High School in Detroit.  She worked as a phone operator for Bank Systems for over 20 years.

Marguerite was blessed to have been married to two wonderful and loving men.  Her first husband was Robert E. Theus who passed away at a very young age in 1968.  She was then blessed to meet and marry Michael Pescatrice.  He passed away in 1992.

She was a loyal and devoted member of St. Bridget’s Church.  Her Catholic faith was very important to her and how she raised her family.  Marguerite enjoyed gardening and loved to travel.  But her true source of love and happiness came from her family.  Her children and grandchildren were her reason for living.

Marguerite is survived by her loving family: her son Bob Theus of Brunswick and her daughter Debbie (Jeff) Theus of Parma; her grandchildren: Kelly (Dan) Nolan, Melissa (Michael) Casco, Robert (Amanda) Theus, Richard (Rachel) Peters, Brooke (Matt Clark) Peters, Brandon Peters, Rob (Sarah) Theus, Destiny (Mitch) Norman and Chelsea Mollard; 15 great-grandchildren; her step-children, whom she loved dearly: Dale (Joyce) Pescatrice, Don Pescatrice, Lynn Pescatrice and Kathy (Ken) Koliha; her sister Lizzetta Belz and brother Arthur Litz; her daughter-in-law Darlene Mollard as well as many nieces and nephews and families that Marguerite has “adopted” along the way that she loved as her own.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Robert Theus and her second husband Michael Pescatrice; her son Ronald Theus; her sister Vera Litz and her brother Albert Litz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 10, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, 5620 Hauserman Rd., Parma, Ohio.  Visitation will be held in the church prior to the Mass from 9:15 until 10:00.

Just as Marguerite was very kind and giving to others during her lifetime, so was she in death.   She was a life-healing and/or life-saving tissue donor through Lifebanc.
