Nicole Dumont

Nicole Renee (Overmier) Dumont, 50, made her way to heaven on August 29, 2021, at the Austinburg Nursing and Rehab Center while under Hospice Care.  She fought hard, but was tired and ready to make her way home.
She was born June 27, 1971, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Roy J and Linda Joyce (Shaffer) Overmier.  Nicole was a graduate of Bristol High School.
Nicole was an extremely kind hearted person and would give you the shirt off of her back.  She enjoyed helping people, even if it was her last dollar and you needed it, she gave it to you. Nicole was a volunteer for the Bristol Fire Department for several years, and she also enjoyed cooking and baking.
She is survived by her companion Tom Mullen, her sister Jennifer Overmier, Katy DeAngelo whom she loved as a sister and Kayla DeAngelo-Barton, whom she loved as a niece, her best friend Andy Davis, stepson Michael Dumont, grandson Brandon Dumont, granddaughter Michaela Dumont and her beloved rescue dog Finnie.
Besides her parents, Nicole was preceded in death by her son, Jacob Gifford.
Memorial donations may be made in Nicole's name to Legacy Dog Rescue, PO Box 3643, Youngstown, OH 44513 (www.ldrofohio.org). This is the rescue where Finnie came from, she loved Finn dearly and on the last visit with him she asked him to please live longer than she did.
Per Nicole's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.  Nicole would love it if you would reach out to someone in a nursing home and just say "Hi, I'm thinking of you".  The family wishes to thank Nicole's many caregivers who became good friends to her.
