Patricia A. Gaggiano

ASHTABULA - Patricia Ann Gaggiano, 87, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2020 at the Country Club Nursing Center.

She was born in Ashtabula on April 10, 1933 the daughter of Edward and Margaret Marcena (Ryan) Wrisley.

Patricia was a graduate of the Ashtabula High School Class of 1951. She worked for the Timkin/Rockwell Brake Plant and as an aide for the Ashtabula Area City Schools at the Windemere Pre-school, Washington Elementary and Saybrook Elementary.

She was a member of our Lady of Peace Parish and attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School. Throughout her life, she was a huge supporter of St. John School and Catholic education.  She will be best remembered as a very proud, loving and dedicated wife, mother. grandmother. sister and friend.  Pat loved a good conversation and her daily trip to McDonald's to meet with friends and enjoy a cup of coffee.  She will be missed dearly by so many.

She is survived by her loving family: her son James Gaggiano of Poland, Ohio; daughter Catherine Migliore of New Jersey; her grandchildren: Ellen and Liz Shouvlin, Kelly (Eliot Wright) and Laura Migliore, and Anthony and Michelle Gaggiano; her great-grandson Elijah Wright; her son-in-law John Shouvlin; her daughter-in-law Tina Gaggiano; and her siblings: Margaret "Peggy" Loyd, Kathryn Baird and G. Terry Wrisley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Louis in 2001; her daughter Cynthia Shouvlin in 2013; and her great-grandson Declan Wright in 2020.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 12:00 at St. Joseph Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. John School in her name.
